Introduction
I was a 14 year old boy coming into high school having the idea that in order to be attractive you had to have muscle and a fitted body. As seen in the really world this is how many boys or men think in daily bases like me when I was 14 years old and though that coming into high school I had to have a certain body to fit in with was expected to be seen a very attractive young man in school. This should not be the case young man at their age should not feel that they are not able to be part of a certain group because they don’t fit a certain criteria. In the article “Men body image” it stated “Men begin to develop their body image when they are still children, based on parental cues. When they begin attending school, their body image develops further.”[1] The media has illustrated our everyday lives by setting a perspective of how men and body image should really look to be accepted in society.
